Nice that Brian, who notoriously gives interviews of a wildly ranging nature, can easily grasp the idea of not going at all negative on Mike. He makes it very plain:


“He and I stopped talking four years ago, and I’ve moved on to my solo career,” he said.

In fact, he prefers touring with his own band to celebrate the “Pet Sounds” anniversary.

“Better to do it this way,” he said. “I’d rather do it my way than the other way.”
