The roller skating rink story got me thinking about where in Santa Monica it was located. I googled vintage roller rinks in Santa Monica, and I'm thinking it was likely at the Santa Monica Ice Capades Chalet at at 500 Broadway at 5th, being as this was located literally walking distance, just a couple blocks away, from the old Brother Records studio on 1454 5th St.
